Hi, my name is Loraine - I'm here with my significant other Jacob, our mini-Australian Shepherd dog Topaz... and all of our cats! Having Ragdolls has been a dream of mine many years in the making, and I couldn't be happier with the sweet, gentle cats who make up our Ragdoll family.
I prioritized getting our show-quality cats from different catteries to have a balance of the best bloodlines and health with champion proven bloodlines. I've since gone on to show our own Mittenstar cats, earning their own Championship titles, and even placing best in the breed for their color and / or division for our region!
Named after the adorable 'mitted' colors that Ragdolls are known for, and after our “Mitten State”- Mittenstar Ragdolls is located in a small township just outside of East Lansing, Michigan.
From American-traditional to European imported lines, our foundation cats have the stunning looks and the sweet, gentle personalities that made the Ragdoll Cat famous.
Rare, Unique, Adorable
With a Mittenstar kitten, you know you’re getting a purebred Ragdoll from heritage lines - who is guaranteed healthy, has parents that are genetically tested, and has been snuggled and socialized and is ready to fit right in with your family.
We are a loving family raising these cats with the utmost care in our home as our treasured pets. We do not cage our cats (even if it means crazy mornings tripping over cats ready for their breakfast!), and we even rotate which cats get their turns to sleep with us at night so everyone gets their chance to snuggle!
Our kittens are used to having friends and family over for socialization, from game nights and movie viewings where we sit and play with and cuddle the kittens while talking, laughing, and playing music - and to being held, carried, squished, kissed, and groomed.
